The new entrained-flow gasification technology jointly developed by Jinan Huangtai Gas Furnace Co., Ltd. and China University of Petroleum (East China), and the Y-type gasifier industrial demonstration device for 100-ton dry slagging and slag separation has been completed and completed. The commissioning operation is successful, and the indicators are better than the design values.


Product Introduction


Y-type entrained bed pulverized coal gasification technology has wide adaptability to coal types, unique flow field design, so that the carbon conversion rate is as high as 99%, liquid slag chilling and dry slag discharge eliminates secondary pollution, low equipment domestic investment, long life, It has the advantages of large operating flexibility, convenient startup and shutdown, and large-scale production. The final output gas CO and H₂ content can reach more than 86%, which has broad application prospects.

Technical characteristics of Y-type entrained bed pulverized coal gasifier


1.Strong coal type adaptability

Dry pulverized coal feed overcomes the problem that the slurry concentration of some coals cannot meet the requirements, and is suitable for the gasification of multiple coals.


2.Unique flow field design

The top nozzle and the radially inclined side nozzle produce multiple jets that collide with each other in the center of the furnace to form a Y-shaped rotating impact zone, which ignites each other, turbulent agitates and mixes, and forms a high-temperature reaction zone. The solid-solid reaction time is extended by more than 10 times.


3.High technical indicators

The gasification operation temperature is high (1300~1600℃), the carbon conversion rate can reach more than 99%, the effective gas composition can reach 90%, and the cold gas efficiency can reach about 80% to 83%.


4.Outstanding advantages in energy saving and environmental protection

The liquid slag chilled dry method is used to discharge slag, which eliminates secondary pollution such as salty wastewater, black water and waste slag. At the same time, the high-temperature gas heat is fully recovered, and the energy-saving effect is obvious.


5.Low overall investment

The gasification scale can provide different gasification furnace designs with daily coal input from 1,000 tons to 3,000 tons, and the equipment manufacturing has achieved localization.


6.Low operation and maintenance costs

The process flow is compact, the equipment has a long service life, and the refractory bricks are set with multiple burners, the load adjustment range is wide, and the operation of starting and stopping is convenient.
